ECPUs not working on their own

Bug Desctription

As stated above the Crafting Storages from ExtraCPUs arent working solely on their own.
They only work when at least one OG AE2 Crafting Storage is hooked up to them.
I assume they should also work on their own so you arent dependant on having to connect it always with at least one OG CS 👍

Reproduction

Steps to reproduce the bug:

  • Implement ExtraCPUs into your mods Directory
  • Start up your build, enter a world and build a basic AE2 AutoCrafting Setup
  • Testing various build combinations: with all OG Crafting Storage and ECPUs Crafting Storage with Crafting Monitor & Co-Processing Unit
  • When trying to autocraft the ECPUs only CS Builds the CPUs arent registered/ cant be used as crafting CPU
  • As soon as you add any of the OG CS they do get registered and work as they are supposed to

Hello! Nice that you like the mod so far.
Your issue describes a known limitation. You could have saved a lot of time testing, if you would have read the curseforge project page or even the GitHub readme.

This limitation is mentioned on both sites.
This can't be fixed due to how Applied Energistics is made. Trust me, we did a ton of trying and testing if we could get this working but we had no luck. The implementation is kinda hacky anyways.
I personally think it's not a big deal since plugging an additional 1k Crafting Storage block to the multiblock isn't very expensive.

This issue is hereby closed since there is nothing we can do about this.
