Fermenting Vat still doesn't work for me altought i have had the last 4 updates

I don't want to be pushy or anyhting ''Vat Hotfix'' update did not fix the issues i had with the fermenting vat and if this is not a huge deal i would like cucumbers to be more accesable on my world i've never found one i don't know what ''hills'' really mean or if its an actual biome or ''y level has to be bigger than x amount of value'' type of thing maybe you could also do something about this. This mod is literally the only reason im playing Minecraft I really love this mod and i would like to experience it wholly sincerely keep up the good work .

Please describe or screenshot what you're trying to do. Also you may need to break and replace the vat.
i hope screenshots are uploaded the thing is none of the recipes from fermenting vat work simply fermenting vat doesn't work i tried everything i broke it, replaced do i need an extra mod or something its weird even after Vat hotfix update none of the recipes worked
