Probably quite a niche use case but for example
Mod added blocks usable by Vanilla Villagers (eg Weaponsmith)

This is possible with an Access Widener, Mixin and a rather cursed registry class

AFAIK Quilt has this ability but I don't intend on using Quilt any time soon.
