This issue is a marker issue for talks going on in the fabric discord.

Fabric WorldRenderEvents are broken to the point that most mods are now forced to ship their own events / hooks for common world rendering. Solution is TBD. This issue is for documenting the progress. Hopefully it gets closed soon 🎉

Whats broken about them?

We need to know what is actually worng with them, and what needs to be done to fix them. if they cannot be fixed they should be removed before the release. If anyone has a vauge idea of what needs to be done please let me know as rendering is not something I can do.
