When I click the proceed button to download a resource pack, the confirmation screen just closes and an update is not downloaded.

I think it would be nice if there was at least some button to remove a resource pack that would be available when I'm not in a world or on a server.
However, if it is possible, it would be great if an active server resource pack would automatically disable to update when it's downloaded again.
