Trying in my survival world, seems like Azaleas (and Flowering Azaleas) doesn't follow seasons like the other saplings does (i set my current season to Winter and it grows just like any other season), plus its leaves should change its colour according to the season (same pallet as oak?).

For season growing percentage, i suggest azaleas and flowering azaleas having sighly different percentages per seasons, with flowering ones peaking on spring and with a decreased percentage on summer, decreasing even more on autumn and nearing zero on winter. Regular azalea, in other hand, could have a similar percentage as oak trees.

It looks like this is supposed to happen (and it definitely happens if you have them in your inventory or a chest or something), but it's not happening once you've placed them on the ground. I haven't tested to figure out if it works in a closed space or at a low enough y-level or something, but I'm glad I'm not the only one running into this issue!
