Let's say I don't want a wooden axe to activate the mod, there should be an option where cutting logs with a wooden axe shouldn't be possible at all.

This can be configured. In the tools section under something like "Denied tools", enter the ids you don't want that the mod activates on.

My bad. I just tested it now and I thought forceToolUsage actually disables players mining logs with bare hands/unallowed tools. I wanted players to be forced to use axes and tools when mining wood logs. I could understand how complicated this can be tho.
