fallingtree.json inside config folders keep reseting

Describe the bug

I need to change mods setting in-game but when I relogin every changes reset to default unless I change it directly from finder folder config itself. Please help.

I've let it to do this in that config but still (From terminal, I'm using macos)

mymodslist.txt in case of incompatibilities

Relevant log output

Hmm the logs would be more usefull, to see if something happens when saving.


What you can try is :


    

  • Check the content of the file
    • 

  • Edit the config in-game
    • 

  • Check if the content of the file again
    • 



If nothign changed, then probably there's an error in the logs.

@Rakambda No change, I already did that the first time I open this issue, I keep track on the last file edited sort in folder, so far when I change from in-game (of your mod) it doesn't change file in the folder, but other mods works when I change it in-game.

  1. What about the logs ? They were never shared nor mentionned if there's an exception in them
    2. 

  2. Can you reproduce it with FallingTree alone ? (if not probablt some some of incompatibility between mods but that'd be weird)

latest.log When I open it to change only how tress are cut down (shift down to instant), I reopen and still does not renew the config file based on my in-game configuration.

Well I see no errors so to be honest I don't know what I can do for you.


    

  1. You didn't try with just FT to see if it's linked to mod incompatibilities (unlikely)
    2. 

  2. Your best option is probably to close minecraft, edit the file manually, save it, and then start your minecraft instance.
    3. 

  3. If you play on a server, the mod has to be configured server-side.
