Hover sound (button) stops working after entering world/server

Describe the bug
I set up hover and click sounds using Fancy Menu. After booting up the game, everything works fine. After entering a world, the hover button sounds stop working or sound extremely muffled and far away. I quit to title and it's still not working. I restart the game and it works fine again. I have created a report in the past but it was completely closed and linked to a duplicate issue (despite my issue being posted first). Following this duplicate issue, it appears to have also been closed without a follow-up from the original poster. I waited a long time to see if any FancyMenu update would fix the issue, but it never did, so here I am, making another report. I hope that we can work together and finally get to the bottom of this rare bug. At this point, I feel as though it could be a driver issue or hardware related since it clearly isn't happening to everyone.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior (e.g.):

  1. Edit any screen to include hover sound or click sounds via FancyMenu
  2. Load into a world and observe how the sounds no longer play or are extremely quiet.

Expected behavior
The hover or click sounds should continue to work after loading into a world.

I closed your first issue, because it had lots of unrelated stuff in it and the other one was newer, so it shows earlier in the issue list. That's how I get myself to fix certain bugs faster, by keeping the newer one open. Also the new one got more to the point of it being an issue related to loading into a world.

I understand. Do you have any idea on how to troubleshoot or fix this issue? I could send the WAV files I'm using? anything?

commented

Yeah, the audio files that are affected could be useful, thanks! ๐Ÿ˜„

Also - did you try with other audio files? Does it happen with all files or only specific ones?

commented

It seems to happen with all of them. I am using OGG files. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SV0lbxNY9h46LzjFUwozxAKBTTlP8o3Q/view?usp=sharing

EDIT: Just remembered that I started with WAV files and switched to OGG files to see if that fixed my issue. It did not.
