Menu flickers when mimicking buttons of the same menu in it

Noticed in the main menu
Mimic one of the main menu buttons and add the mimic button to the same menu, then see the default menu being visible for a second when switching to another menu

FancyMenu v3 is now out and it's a full rewrite, so I'm closing this for now.
