unlike most other menus like furnace_screen and whatnot, opening chat_screen outside of a world crashes your game without displaying that fancymenu couldnt open the screen

Tbh, that's just natural selection at that point. There are probably other screens that will also crash the game when opened in places they should not get opened in.

Will not fix that probably, sorry.

i have tried many screens and chat_screen is really the only one that crashes the game. even inventory related ones dont do this
