Could you add the same functionality to a pumpkin pie as an apple pie?
So that you can also place it on the block and cut it into pieces with a knife.

Iirc this is a planned feature for Farmer's Delight NeoForge. We don't really have the say in feature requests like this as a port, just as a heads up.

You could try the Pumpkin Pie Delight addon if you're on 1.21.1.
