Black Fertilized Soil

I just added this mod to my pack and all the tilled soil blocks turn black when I add any of the 3 fertilizers.
This is not happening to me, what other mods are installed? Can you provide a screenshot of the issue?

Alright, no luck with that either. What Forge version, operating system and Java version are you using?
The log might also contain useful information, you can find it in the instance folder under logs/latest.log.
Have you tried putting fertilizer in some other places or a new world? It might be something near the blocks somehow interfering.
Does this issue occur with only Forge and Farming for Blockheads installed?
Forge-14.23.4.2725, Windows 10 Home 64-bit, Java 1.8.0_51
I've looked through the log and don't see anything obviously referencing this. Though I don't know anything about modding so that isn't super surprising.
I've tried using the fertilizer in a few different worlds so far and they all get the same results. I haven't tried it just by itself though, only in this huge pack.
Just created a mod testing world with just Farming for Blockheads in it. It's working great in that world.
Are you using the Twitch Client? If so, please export the pack and upload it somewhere. Otherwise, at least upload the config directory somewhere.
Also put your latest.log file on pastebin and post the link here. I still can't reproduce the issue even with the exact same mods installed.
