1.12.2 is old. Too old for me. Will there be an 1.16 version? :)

mod creators don’t update because players are still playing 1.12 and players don’t because many mods are only for 1.12. See the problem?

Did you even read the FAQ? Mod WILL get updated to 1.16 when 1.12 is finished, meanwhile its in pre-pre-pre-alpha state. Stop wasting our time answering to such pointless comments, and take 1 minute of your life to find and read FAQ

FP2 being developed for 1.12 is AFAIK because that's the latest version that cubic chunks is stable on. CC 1.17 is work in progress, so expect to see CC + FP2 on 1.17+ sooner or later.

yup, the primary goal is to support cubic chunks and the fact that it works at all in non-cubic worlds is a neat side effect of the implementation.
