With #10 requiring a partial rewrite of the mod anyway, this seems like a perfect opportunity to merge the two different projects for easier future maintaining. This should be doable by either creating a common, forge and fabric directory (where forge and fabric use files from the common directory but each have their own gradle scripts) or by using e.g. Sinytra Connector.
