Please help! Idk if it's all shields or just some.

Thermal Foundation
Tinkers' Compendium

Also saw sponge can have issues with this mod?

T0ED had posted on the help thread for sponge never got a fix.

Tested vanilla and Spartan Shields shield, and they both work as expected.
What issue do you have with sponge?

To clarify what OP means, 1.12.2 SpongeForge servers loose vanilla shield functionality when your mod is installed. they also suffer rare and unpredictable death bugs with first aid, sometimes causing players to retain full control while dead (effectivly invulnerable) or to get them stuck at the death screen, unable to respawn.

This is most likely a problem with the changes hybrid servers like spongeforge, Magma, and Mohist make to minecraft beyond the scope of regular forge. If you are able to discern what the incompatibility is, it'd make it easier to request a compatibility update from them, as i'm sure the affected forge hooks impact other mods as well.
