Burst fire weapons and the attachment only act as single fire. 5.6 V7 BETA

Describe the bug
Simply put, this issue/bug only occurs (as far as i know) in Flans Mod 5.6, Version 7, and maybe Version 3. adding the Burst Fire attachment to a weapon or adding burst fire to a weapon's configuration, regardless of the field "NumBurstRounds" will result in the gun acting as if using single fire. No other issues a noticed or involved as far as i can tell. yet, auto fire and single fire work fine in the same version, as well.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Load up a game with the respective version, and join the world
- find a gun with burst fire function or simply add burst fire to a compatible weapon
- try to fire the weapon.
Expected behavior:
the weapon should fire a sequential three rounds per trigger pull, whether added manually or included in the weapon's configuration during content creation.

Additional context
other than that, I am loving the version! no more vehicle issues for now, grenade launchers wont crash, block/entity penetration works, and the improved inventory lay out for creative is a big help. (these issues were across older versions that gave some benefit to using them, but now I have one version i can stick with so long as this burst fire issue is fixed!)
Seeing this same issue in 1.12.2 with Flans Mod 5.7.2.
Using Forge 14.23.5.2854. I know the Flans download page said to use version 2611, but that caused a crash in Flans Mod so I'm assuming the download page instructions are just out of date.
Tested with Machetemen Arms Pack 1.12.2 Update, and the Modern Weapons pack.
