This should be very simple. I suggest implementing this once AA Gun orientation is implemented.

Err, what's SideViewLimit in the first place? Sorry, don't really do content packs.

On a deployable machine gun, there is a field for "SideViewLimit." If I have it set to 30, the MG can rotate 15 degrees to the left and 15 degrees to the right. If I try to rotate more, the MG will not rotate more than the set limit.
