Using the 4.0.1 public release with the Flan authored 4.0 content packs when I use a spawned Part crafting table it only allows crafting of vehicles

Any insight into what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Your problem is that the crafting table only crafts planes, tanks, cars and mechas?
That is intended if that's your issue.

I can understand that the vehicle crafting table only can craft vehicles but how can I craft the parts needed for these vehicles if the parts table only crafts vehicles as well?

Each pack provides their own recipes.
