When you name a plane in an anvil, place it and then pick it back up the plane loses its name.

A new item is created when a plane entity is destroyed!

Maybe we need a better way of creating the items and the ability for plane item names to be stored in the plane data files?

This whole thing isn't really necessary but would prevent people wasting XP.
