There was OptiFine errors massages in chat of my world. So I think there is some compatibility issues.
I'm on 1.18.2 version with OptiFine 1.18.2 HD U H9 pre3.

optifine has bad mod compatibility in general and sodium has far better performance
last time i played this mod sodium worked fine, and other mods related to it
you can probably just use the fabulously optimized modpack
