This is correct. The Energy Bee can no longer input into the Flux Plug. Since FTB Revelation was just updated Bee power is no longer possible within the modpack. SInce the Energy bee in an alveary with blinding speed and 10 magic frames inserted creates close to 2Billion RF/T there are no other viable options to transfer the power created by the Bee. For anyone who desires large power production then the modpack is unplayable.

The issue here is that mods are updated without knowing how players are using them can have serious negative effects.

Hello! Just revisiting this thread as I am currently still seeing the issue with the 4.1.1.34 MC 1.12.2 version that the flux plugs/points cannot accept power from energy bees in an industrial apiary or an alveary. Just curious to see if this issue was still being worked on after a year. Cheers!

I believe this is also effecting the Energy Bee from the 'Career Bees' mod.

It used to be possible(FluxNetworks 1.12.2-3.0.19-21) to connect a flux plug up to an Alveary (Forestry), Apiary (Forestry), Industrial Apiary(Gendustry) etc. Energy Bees housed in said blocks could then transfer their power to the plug.

This no longer works.

Usually I wouldn't care too too much but I know this effects players who've just updated to FTB Revelations 3.5.0, since a number of people who play that pack have been using this method of power generation. I've seen some posts on reddit wondering why it's suddenly broken, I decided to look for the source of the issue and found that it was the update to flux networks.

I imagine this isn't a huge priority, I just want to add some info and perhaps act as a lighthouse for any FTB Revelations players wondering why they suddenly don't have power.

To that end I've temporarily solved this by downgrading to fluxnetworks-1.12.2-3.0.19-21. So far I haven't had any compatibility issues with FTB Revelations 3.50 but do be sure to backup your saves folks.

Note to the mod author: I fully realize you may keep the current flux plug functionality, and this may never work again. Nor is it your obligation to change your mod so that it works with specific modpacks etc. Just providing additional information as this seems to effect more than just the 'pipes' mod.

To clarify the issue:
The flux plug does not allow to receive energy if it is not connected to a block that has the energy capability.
The Pipez mod optimizes its cables, so it only has block entities on the extracting pipe.

Due to the way priorities work / to allow a better distribution of energy in the current design others mods can't extract from Flux Points, as in general they never contain any energy. For now i'd suggest having an intermediary energy cell.

That's not the point. I am talking about the flux plug not accepting energy when no block entity is next to it.

Okay that makes sense, I'll update the issue name for now to reflect. We may be able to come up with a universal solution at some point to allow this behavior.

For now, an easy fix would be to allow energy to be pushed into the plug even if it isn't showing the connection.
