A guide to help those completely new to this mod, such as were to find the various berries, seeds, and trees. Furthermore, please make use of the in-game recipe book and tooltips.

Reason:
I have no idea where I can even begin locating the various seeds, berries, or trees. I did figure out that your Salt Ore is as spread out as Coal Ore or Iron Ore. It took me a while to figure out how to get dried peppercorn or even carton (from wet carton) - a tooltip would have been more helpful with those. Using the in-game recipe book to figure out what I can make only to realise that I truly need to use my REI to even get the recipe is rather saddening.

I have added more indepth information onto the Wiki section here (please note this is mainly for the iteration coming out with 1.21.5) but is similar in the older versions. I have also added in advancements to the new 1.21.5 version that lets the recipe book unlock all recipes in the mod. I will look into tool tips and other ways of indicating how to use things like the drying rack for some recipes.
