Hey, so I've looked through the wiki and in order to get a jerky u need to dry a salted strip on a drying rack.
From the wiki, you gotta right click the item on the drying rack right?

It doesn't seem to work for me. I right clicked the drying rack with my salted strip and nothing happened. Even made sure to do it under the sun in case there were any "conditions" I need to have. But from the wiki, there doesn't seem to be any conditions i gotta fulfill.

Which version of the mod were you using and was it on singleplayer or multiplayer that you encountered the issue?

I have the same problem with the Jerky. cant clip it on the Rack. Sometimes there seems to be 1 right pixel but after after i checked my inv i see that there is only the image of the saltet strips on the rack. any help? I am running the latest 1.17 version on my privat server for me an some friends

It seems there is some sort of disconnect between the server and the player, and once you relog or join a singleplayer world and back it fixes it. I will look into it but it may not be fixed for a few updates.

Yeah, a little bit annoying, but it's not game breaking so it's fine!

Bug found and fixed, will be all fixed in new update 1.0.8, though that may be a few days as I'm still working on other features. You will have to potentially break and replace the drying racks to get them working 100% again.

Thanks for letting me know I thought I did enough testing to say this problem was fixed. Are you using a prebuilt mod-pack or is it just self-installed? Also, are you only using Foodables or other mods as well? Just going to try and recreate the issue.

I'll have to do some testing in the next few weeks as currently I'm strapped for time but I'm planning to get back into the dev process over the holidays. So I'll get a fix out in the next update, hopefully, I can recreate the issue.

Sorry to write on a closed issue, but im currently on 1.0.8 and i am having the same issue whenever i connect to a server, i have to get into singleplayer world first and then get into a server in order to be able to interact with the drying rack, however if i craft a drying rack or a slab i cannot keep interacting with them and have to do the singleplayer method again

Are you sure you are using that version of the fabric API as it is built for Minecraft 1.18 or are you playing in the snapshot? I am honestly not quite sure if Foodables is compatible with the new Fabric API as of yet as it was only built for 1.17.

Edit: Though I am unsure about your API version the problem wasn't tied to it I identified the issue and have fixed it, thanks for letting me know this was still going on :)
