Rituals can already be modified through datapacks, see https://wiki.valhelsia.net/external-mods/forbidden-and-arcanus/wiki/datapack-guide/hephaestus-forge-rituals. No idea if this was also possible in 1.18.2 but that version is now outdated by several years and we only support 1.21.1 currently.
