Just what is says on the tin - you die even in creative. I know this was a problem in the early versions of Blood Magic itself.

I was testing for something like this (or more specifically the amount of LP filled by one Right Click. I tried because I noticed a similar problem with the old Blood Orb a while ago, back in 1.6.4.
