It is always night in the Twilight Forest, which means the default bee species can't work when their hives generate in the Twilight Forest. A proposed solution:

• Hives in the Twilight Forest will drop bees with the Nocturnal allele

they should also loose the diurnal allele since theres no sun there. that way you cant easily get nocturnal copies of bees for free

Unfortunately, the diurnal property is part of the species, not an allele. They would instead carry the NEVER_SLEEPS allele, which means they'd work during day and night.
