This is low priority but I noticed that the tree multifarm, even when fed hummus and has stock will move dirt into its internal inventory instead of ejecting it like it does with sand/saplings and logs. The only issue is that this will fill with dirt and eventually supplant the hummus as I keep a stock and do not let it fill entirely, though that may be the workaround.

Also on a side note, I guess forestry no longer converts vanilla saplings to their forestry equivalent?

Never mind, I believe I was being a derp and didn't realize that the eject portion of the hatch counts as an input so it was cycling around back in very fast.
