Mod Version: Forestry 5.8.2.383

Issue: encountering the habitat former (by placing it or walking into someone's base where it has been placed) will cause yellow and blue particles to appear near the player and then fade. the effect is permanent and persists after relogging.

Is it Repeatable?: Myself and several players on a server have encountered the issue, so it should be repeatable.

perhaps I should clairify. removing the habitat former or going far from where the habitat former is placed does not make the particles go away. it is an effect stuck to the player
I have also been having this issue as have many other players on our server. I have been unable to find a way to remove the particle effect. We are current;y running version 5.8.2.387. Would love some help on this.
@zach2045 I suggest removing any habitat formers on the server and giving it a few days. myself, alongside the other players I mentioned, noticed it went away, but we did not notice what might have been the exact cause.
I do not know if this issue has been taken seriously by the development team or if it is somehow fixed in future versions of the mod, but I would also try updating the mod if you are able to. I know that can be tricky with a server though so this is just a last ditch attempt at a remedy to your situation.
Thanks so much for the advise. I will try removing all formers on the server. I am pretty sure I am the only one using one at the moment so that shouldn't be to hard. Hopefully that fixes it. I am running on the latest version of the mod so it seems to still be an issue. I did end up reporting this again to see if maybe starting a new thread would bring some a attention to the issue however I have yet to get a response there either. I see that this was said to be an intended feature of the habitat former but I guess I just don't see how having a permanent particle affect would benefit the player much. I could for sure understand if it was only applied when a player is within close proximity to the former since it would be a way to see the settings of the former without opening the machines gui. However I have a hard time believing it's intended to stick with you no matter where you are or how far you are from the machine as it becomes more of an annoyance at that point.
