Seeing some Bukkit Plugins for signs and chat but wouldn't want to switch because my server has so many forge mods

If you enable the sign tools module in ForgeEssentials/main.cfg, does this give you the ability to edit the modded signs (or just vanilla)? That will tell us how feasible this request is.

yea, I had a feeling that was the case. That means this is a mod compat and will require more work to do.

it is already enabled as I can shift right-click and then edit the sign but I can't with the street sign although it would be possible as just right-clicking on the street sign just adds another street sign on top of the last one
