The forge version of the mod does not allow any planting of sugarcane, cactus, or nether wart. I attempted every crop on all 3 snad types and was not able to plant on any of them.

The issue was initially encountered in a custom modpack but I created an instance with only this mod and the issue was the same.

Unsure if the fabric version has a similar issue, I did not test it.

I forgot to close this one, but I tested the latest versions of the mod for both launcher and versions (1.16 and 1.17). Working fine.
You can open this issue again if you find the problem again. Sorry for the late reply.
