The Framework Update
In 0.13 we hope to actually get a solid framework going. Not a technical side of the framework but a more solid content framework. Where all baselines are implemented and we can actually expand on that with more unique stuff.
Todo
Things needed to be done in the Framework Update, to actually make Forgero playable.
- Progression rework
- Modonomicon rework
- Armor integration
- Trident/Crossbow/Fishing rod Integration
- Redo of the conditions (they are just bloatware currently)
- Extended rework (#710; #910)
- Gem Rework
- Deprecated module (#954)
- #942
- #927
- #932
Progression & Modonomicon
These are closely linked as we want a actual good player experience this time. With a handwritten guide and tutorial to guide the player through our way to confusing mod.
Together with that will be a progression rework, focusing on ways how to acquire tools, parts and materials instead of the current RNG. I JorisDeBeer would very like it to make smithing included in this :kekw:.
Armors, tridents and crossbows
These need to be added to have full vanilla compatibility down. After this we can start adding more crazy stuff. We realized we where going way to far with gems etc (these are fine with the coming stuff) but weird that we have a full set of gems etc but not actual vanilla armors and crossbows in our mod.
Conditions & soul stuff
Bloatware currently, nobody knows what they do and why they appear. Sigg and I talked about a very cool implementation of them with some sort of smithing rework :kekw:
Soul stuff too should or be removed in its current state or be put on hold -> way to ambitious first back to basics
