i am currently playing atm10 to the sky, and i was in the nether and angered the zombie pigmen, so i decided to just fall over and over for 5 minutes to lose aggro, and when i went to land back on the fortress, i slowed myself down with a jetpack from iron jetpacks, and like completley slowed my fall and fell a few blocks and died from fall damage. i just think it doesnt make sense to keep all the fall damage if you slow your fall with a jetpack
