Hi there. I’ve been playing on the Fossils and Archeology Official modpack on Technic. I had move my first two cultivated Megaloceros into a pen and everything seemed fine. Once they became 10 days old the male started creating Duplicates of an identical copy out. The only way for me to tell the difference was by using the Dinopedia to find the mood of the duplicate to be neutral and my original to be high because I had handfed it. It occurred periodically throughout the time I played and still had the drops when I got rid of it. I played the next day and then both male and female started duplicating. By that point I could tell the difference using the dinopedia again. The duplicates remained at 10 days and my originals were around 21 days. No matter how many times I get rid of the duplicates they continue to keep spawning.
