Expected Behavior

The point of waxing copper is that it doesn't oxidize no matter what.

Actual Behavior

When waxed, the copper golem won't oxidize. . . as long as it doesn't push a copper button, but the moment a waxed golem does, it oxidizes, which is an unintended behavior. This also leads to a waxed variant of a stage 4 oxidized copper golem (something that isn't intentionally obtainable) as the wax stays even though it oxidized fully.

Reproduction Steps

Self explanatory. Have waxed copper golem (probably stage 3 for testing purposes) in a room with a copper button. Over time, that waxed copper golem will turn into a statue. If you run the same experiment with no copper button, it never oxidizes.

Hello, thanks for the report, this is a feature, so golem can actually oxidize when pressing button into some kind of "interesting pose", but you are absolutely correct, its bugged and it doesnt keep in mind waxed state.

I added further clarification in the main post to make it more apparent that the "unintended behavior" was referring to a "waxed copper golem pushing a button causes it to oxidize" to better reflect the intended behavior with the "interesting pose" you would get from a non-waxed copper golem pressing the button.

It also might be worth reducing the chance of button pressing causing oxidization on the non-waxed variant as it can cause kinda frequent oxidization when considering that vanilla oxidization is supposed to be a very slow process. Perhaps only allow the button oxidization to happen only after a set amount of time has past from when the golem has entered it's current oxidization stage? Example, the wiki says it takes roughly 20 minutes to enter pre-oxidization phase. So when a copper golem changes states, it could have like a 15 minute cooldown before the button press has any effect on the golem? Just an idea for the sake of vanilla parity.

Should be partially corrected in 4.x.x version of the mod.
