Can you make the copper golem organise and sort chest loots like the Minecraft Live?

I think that i will probably add the chest sorting to the golem once its out :). As for the other issues, no need to split anything, you can tweak everything via config.

Do you mean like my mod or the mc version? If my mod does contain crash and/or error, please do report it along with the log file

Also 1.21.4-4.0.8 has way too many errors and crashes!

Better text body/request for the issue:

Can Copper Golems be updated to match the behaviors of the newly upcoming Copper Golem for Minecraft 1.21.9 (aka Drop 3 2025)? It may make sense to split the Copper Golem out to a separate mod for compatibility purposes with 1.21.9+.

This may be worth adding as it seems like 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 are becoming the next "main versions" for mods. So a essentially a backport of the 1.21.9 copper golems to 1.20.1/1.21.1 (+ whatever other versions are supported).

List of features/changes:

  • Add Copper Chests
  • Copper Golems should no longer interact with buttons.
  • Copper Golems are now made with a Block of Copper and a Carved Pumpkin or Jack-o-Lantern (no more Lightning Rod)
  • Nearby Iron Golems can plant a poppy on the head of a Copper Golem
  • Copper Golems now have an additional stage after oxidization, it becomes a statue. When becoming a statue, it will drop any items it is holding and lose any rose on top of its head.
  • Idle Copper Golems will search for a Copper Chest within a 65x17x65 cubic area. It will travel to the chest and take out 16 of the first item in the chest, taking 3 seconds.
  • If it has an item in its hands, it will look for the nearest Chest or Trapped Chest (same 65×17×65 cubic area) and travel to it and place the item in the chest, taking 3 seconds
  • Copper Golems remember the last 10 Copper Chests it has searched and are empty. If there are 10 empty copper chests in its memory, it will wander for 7 seconds and forget all 10 chests and reset.

it'd be cool if copper golems still interacted with buttons, as that's a fun mechanic
