with max storage upgraded compacting drawers, attempting to insert an item into it will instead give the player a large amount (4609+).

Steps to replicate:
put down a compacting drawer
apply max storage upgrade
attempt to insert any item (even non-compactable ones)
instead of inserting the item, obtain a large number of items

To add further information, it seems the bugged stack is partially client side only, however, if you split it into normal stacks, the server accepts them as valid, So if you log off, the 4609 stack becomes a stack of 1, however any stacks you split from it, remain in your inventory

Can you please define “max storage upgrade” would this be “Netherite Upgrade”. Asking for clarity.
I’m getting similar issue but with the copper upgrade.
