Hello!
According with this issue ( https://github.com/svenhjol/Charm/issues/294 ) compatibility between Charm (a vanillesque mod similar to Quark) and FutureMC broke after 0.2.x.
So Charm author said:
Sorry, for some reason the build environment no longer works on my machine for 1.12 and I don't have the time to maintain it right now.
I dont know if this is related to the adoption of forgelin as a required dependency and the modid change, but i'm leaving this ticket in hope you can help @svenhjol if possible with that issue.
Thanks in advance! Both mods really revitalize 1.12! Thank you for that!
From what i've understand the issue on other end, @svenhjol is having issues using the new FutureMC in his mod (i really dont know Java enough to explain, sorry). I think only him can explain whats going on.
In my end i noticed he adds several future blocks already added by FutureMC, the problem is your blocks are better implemented, then i think what he was doing was detecting if your mod is present (by modid) and then using your future blocks instead of the of his mod.
Sorry if i'm wrong, but that was my perception about.
Unfortunately i dont know if @svenhjol is still active (he said he "don't have the time to maintain it right now"). I will close the issue, in case he comes active again and were willing to work in 1.12 again i would reopen the issue.
Thanks for your patience!
Reopening this issue since @SokyranTheDragon decided to fork Charm to add the compat and @svenhjol reappered too
