Texture issue with slabs

When a slab is placed on top of a solid block the top casts a shadow even if there is light.

But when placed on non-solid blocks such as stairs or nothing, it looks normal

Is optifine installed ? If not try to remove every coremod, you could start with foamFix.

No optifine, no foamfix, we will do some testing.

Ok so I found what the issue was. Has nothing to do with other mods that i have seen so far.

Interesting. Could you please try to enable/disable the forge light pipeline and check if this changes something ?
