The piston in the vertical jumping puzzle in dungeons sometimes spawns stuck in extended position

The vertical jumping puzzles in dungeons that start with a piston, sometimes have the piston in a permanently extended position, making the puzzle impossible without extra tools.

As an example, see X Y Z -1177 133 -3897 in the dungeon dimension on the FP server.

I have also seen this happen in another dungeon, but unfortunately I did not record the coordinates.

If you throw an item on the pressure plate and collct it again, does it fixes this ?

Okay, I checked the location out and the reason seems to be that the pressure plate is in a permanent 'on' position, even though there is nothing on it (at least nothing I as a player can pick up).

Looking at the pressure plate shows that it has 'power: 1', while a pressure plate with nothing on it usually has 'power: 0'.

I have not tried to trigger a block update yet (the block protection is still on).


On an unrelated note, there was something weird with the block protection. When I first went to the dungeon to check the piston out, the block protection was off temporarily, so that I could break blocks. When I left the dungeon and came back, the blocks were protected again.

Since you changed the block protection system in the latest version, this observation probably is not relevant.

the change is not applied yet (the version got not published to curseforge yet). The dungeon core has a backup of the protection in it so it will eachtime it gets loaded apply the protection to the dungeon. (I made this in case the protection somehow get lost)

THis is caused by a wrong generation file (the dungeon got scanned while the piston was extended, thats why this is happening)
