This was a handy "feature" for like when you got a queen that was in the wrong temp or humidity you could alter her to at least be able to produce a princess/drone. Or like on a busy server where no one had time to sleep through the night you could imprint nocturnal on her.

Was this change a balance type thing? If so, understood... use modules or whatnot. If this was not for balance could we heave the feature back?

Hello, I am also having the same issue on FTB Revelation as well. I started playing it last night and noticed that this was happening. I am able to get the drones and princesses in without an issue.

Also, on a side note, when I do get a gene sample that I want to keep, when I merge it with the genetic template, the blank gene sample disappears. I do not know if that is a bug on Gendustry's end or my server, and the issue is more just a quality of life type thing. I am still able to put the gene samples I don't need in the furnace and get those back out though.

same problem, without imprinting queens, this mod isn't fun anymore :(

I did a bit of looking into this issue and found that he did change the code to not allow queen bees into the imprinter anymore.
