A possible solution would be to offer a blacklist dimension config option, as the server worker deaths occur shortly after geolosys capability is attached to the dimension when you first enter.
I still haven't been able to reproduce this issue -- are you still having any problems? I can't imagine why a server thread would die, especially after I had to rework so much code in v5.0.0.
I'm going to close this for now, as it's stale. If you have any updates let me know and I'll gladly re-open the issue and get back to work on debugging this.
