Getting many surface sample spawns, but very little ores.

Versions:
- Minecraft Forge: 1.12.2-14.23.5.2847
- Geolosys: Geolosys-1.12.2-2.2.6.jar
- JourneyMap (optional): n/a
- ImmersiveEngineering (optional): n/a
What happens:
Lots of surface sample spawns, but very very sparse actual ores.
What should happen:
Ore should be spawning below the sample at some point between surface all the way to bedrock, but it isnt.
Logs (if necessary):
No crash, so logs arent really applicable.
Additional Comments:
I will post a pastebin of my config. I had the sevtech ages of the sky version of Geolosys and deleted it (along with the config), and upgraded to this new version because I wanted to implement biome specified spawning, but it isnt working out as planned so far...

Let me know how I can get the ore spawning behavior back to the way it was, but with the "per-biome" spawning functionality, if possible. I also ran my json through a code beautifier and it validated with no issues, so not sure whats going on.
