First of all, I love this mod :)

However, golden hoppers are still quite limited in their use cases. One thing that bummed me out is there is no way to automate adding/removing items to/from the filter slot of golden hoppers.

What if other hoppers (and other similar things) could interact with the filter slot when the golden hopper is disabled (i.e. powered)? I believe this will greatly improve the usefulness of golden hoppers (compact variable sorters?) while at the same time, not altering the vanilla QOL style of this mod.
