Crystallization sprites have issues

The z-level masking I do for the crystallized goo sprites is only effective in the inventory, really.
The edges of the sprite still show their exaggerated highlight/shading sprite on the edges and the z-level of the mask is ever so slightly noticeably raised off the sprite of the item itself, leaving a peculiar seam.
I probably need to redesign these to have dedicated sprites, as cumbersome as it will be to redesign for 20+ with animations, unless I can come up with something more clever.
