When breaking path blocks with a regular shovel vanilla path block drops no item even though it should drop dirt.

Using version: Fabric [1.17-1.19.2] v23.05.08

Since the changelog for this version is only adding dirt paths drop when using silk touch, would it be safe to roll back to the previous version until a fix is released?
