[MC 1.7.10] Crash During Catacomb Generation "bound must be positive"

Description:

When moving around in any world with catacomb generation enabled, the game will randomly crash with the error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: bound must be positive

Note: I know 1.7.10 is old but I still host my world with LotR Mod for RP purposes

I forgot to note that I also use several other worldgen mods such as BoP, Highlands, Ancient Warfare, LotR to name a few but they are not indicated in the crash report.

Also, I noticed in the Java console a lot of spam from catacomb generation checking chuncks for a valid generation. Even if I don't move into new chunks it seems to keep checking.
