Hi, when I click the jar file it gives the error "failed to load main class manifest attribute from jar" in the console. I can see that there is no main class in the manifest file... am I not installing correctly or is there an issue with the install for mac?

This is a forge mod. Install forge and put the jar into the mods folder. There are plenty of tutorials on how to install mods out there.
