Hey!
Hope all is good! I thought of presenting some ideas in case they are relevant!
----------> NEW:
--------------> New post under this
Higher Relevance:
Topic # 1: I'm not sure, but I think Geryons don't spawn Mad Cows like it says in the wiki
Topic # 2: Triton villages spawn way too frequently that maybe lowering them by around 40-60% might be decent, they're kinda close to each other in oceans
Topic # 3: Bronze Bull's didn't improve that much since last thread. They still stand on top of people the whole time doing no damage. I took a fire potion and I only received 1 physical hit the entire fight
Topic # 4: I spawned so many golden trees that I broke and they never dropped golden apples, are you sure that they still drop them?
Medium Relevance:
Topic # 5: Making ambrosia and Horn of Plenty recipes more expensive might make people want to fight Geryons more often and makes the food less abusable that it prevents other ways of acquiring food. Maybe adding golden apple to one of the recipes? or maybe lowering the amount of from from horn of plenty?
Topic # 6: Wild roses appear way too often in loot tables (lampad and web balls), It's an item that you get once and you have an OP item where you never have to eat again at home. I feel like it might be more of a challenege to change its drop rate to 5-15% from Satyrs and lower from other loot tables
Extra: adding it into a recipe so that it exists less in circulation might help, maybe like ambrosia and/or horn of plenty, etc?
Low Relevance:
Topic # 7: maybe the ability to turn off quest papers appearing in treasure chests in the config. making quest papers disappear from inventory after completion, some sort of recognition of its completion, maybe completed quests reflect on the quest paper in your inventory and you can trade that altered paper with centaurs for:
- Option 1: small amount of XP depending on the quest (the same way you get from trading with villagers)
- Option 2: reeds/pinecones/oil lamps
- Option 3: banner patterns/banners, 1-3 paper, book, writable-book, empty map,
- Option 4: different color vases
- Option 5: only one bronze coin OR minimum 1 or maximum 4 bronze ingots depending on difficulty
- Option 6: fern, dead bush, mushroom
- Option 7: min 1 and max 4 copper ingots depending on difficulty
Thanks :)

Topic # 8: I personally disabled the Nemean Lion Hide from being able to receive enchantments using CraftTweaker in order to avoid mending/unbreaking be used on it as to nerf it. The hide isn't just immune from the back, I think it's bugged to be immune from the front too. I think that enabling the hat to lose durability every time you get hit by arrows even when you're immune might make it more Minecraft like

NEW:
Discus recipe
Requires 8 bronze nuggets, produces 2 discus, which then can be melted into 12 bronze nuggets, which can act an infinite bronze multiplier. one way to navigate that is making the discus recipe produce 8 discus and make each discus melt into 1 nugget
Thank you for all the improvements!
(Extra info)
Recipes I implemented into my modpack:
Enchanted Apple (for Arion)
Golden Spaling (nerf)
I did the math and on average, 1 gold tree = drops 8.5 Gold Apples = which is 66 Gold Ingots = 7.5 Gold Blocks
Ambrosia (nerf)
- I will work on it, thanks for reporting :)
- Easy fix.
- I will work on it, thanks
- For some reason golden saplings grow olive trees, oops.
- Horn of Plenty will have a config option for durability lost upon use.
- I will reduce loot table weights for Wild Rose. I believe it is used to craft the Hunting enchantment book.
- A full-featured quest system would be nice, but I promised myself to keep it simple and stay within the scope of the mod ๐
Datapacks can be used to change the loot tables that generate quests. - Good idea for balancing. It should only work from behind but I'll do some more testing.
Added in Greek Fantasy 19.2.6, pending approval on CurseForge. Enjoy!
Just wanted to share the feedback from my testing, so for closing and re-opening the [Enhancement] before my feedback, I was too eager hahaha

Nemean Lion Hide:
Immune from the front instead of back (tool-tip says the opposite). Tested using skeletons shooting and redstoned arrow dispensers. -
Bronze Bull:
Difficulty went up from 1 -> 8
The Bull now requires a strategy.
Strategy: Fire Resistance potion is a must, you have to run away when it's in physical attack phase because of the difficulty of landing hits due to the knock back, the melee phase is 15 seconds long of running away, a total of 6 physical hits, you should eat after getting hit to not risk death by the 3rd hit. It's close in difficulty to the Charybdis, if you ever decide to nerf the bull I'd recommend lowering the physical hits to 5 physical hits OR making the fire phase go off twice back-to-back instead of once to allow for more time to land hits, but it's still good as is.
