Related Problem

When using machines with several different types of non-consumable items such as molds or lenses, it's not convenient to have to store all of them separately.
A circuit and charging slot exists in every machine but that's only 2 slots.

Your Solution

A "drawer cover" could be added, which could be placed on machines. When placed it would allow access to a 10-slot inventory at the side of the machine GUI, similar to Tinker's Construct inventory linking. This could restrict contents to molds, lenses, config circuits, and other non-consumed items but I dont think it's necessary.
Alternatively or additionally an "inventory link" cover could be added, which would link an adjacent chest to a machine so that its contents could be viewed directly from the GUI.
